North American Wholesale Lumber Association regional meeting coming in May

The NAWLA Toronto regional meeting will feature two expert speakers for this afternoon event.

Peter Brown, Deloitte

Peter E. Brown is a Senior Practice Partner at Deloitte Canada, with 30 years’ experience serving public and private clients in Canada and internationally. Peter served as Managing Partner, Atlantic, followed by Managing Partner for our mid-market practice in Canada, before being appointed to Deloitte Canada’s Client Cabinet, comprised of senior leaders with firm-wide market responsibilities. Peter co-leads Canada’s Best Managed Companies Program and co-authored the book Power of the Best.

Steven Street, Wood WORKS!

Steven joined Wood WORKS! In 2007 after a career in off-site panelization and factory prefabrication.  As Technical Director, he provides information and technical support to design professionals. Steven is actively involved in key Canadian market development programs, including the role wood can play in Mid-rise construction and urban planning strategies.  He has been engaging with Stakeholder Consultation groups about mid-rise. He guest lectures at Colleges and Universities on wood and its use, and regularly speaks at industry and technical events presented by the Provincial Government, Ontario Building Officials Association, Ontario Wood Truss Fabricators Association, and the Canadian Wood Council.
