Fall is fast approaching and we’re (sadly) leaving behind sunny days and longer nights.  Heading into fall also means that we will be experiencing a whole different season and the way we care for our lawns and gardens drastically changes.

Here are some tips on things to keep in mind for fall lawn care:

  1. Remove leaves: As we go from spring to fall, the most significant change is seen in the leaves. Leaves turn yellow and brown and start falling off the trees, lining up on your backyard or porch. It would be ideal to remove the leaves and make sure that your lawn is clean. Instead of going the traditional and hard-working method of using a rake to clear out these leaves, you can switch to theHusqvarna 230iB Leaf Blower to quickly clean your lawn of any dead leaves.
  2. Cut the grass: Once the lawn is clear of unwanted grass, it is important to cut and trim the grass and clear out the weeds if there are any. A great tool for trimming the grass would be the Husqvarna 220iL String Trimmer/Edger.
  3. Fertilize your soil: The lawn should now be clean from leaves and when the grass is trimmed, it would be a good time to plant some seed and fertilize your lawn. It delivers nutrients and encourages root growth.
