Canfor Corporation revises annual general meeting due to COVID-19

April 1, 2020

By: The Working Forest Staff

Vancouver, BC, Canada – Similar to other public companies around the globe, Canfor Corporation and Canfor Pulp Products Inc. each announced that they will take COVID-19 precautionary measures for the companies’ upcoming Annual General Meetings (AGMs) on April 23, 2020. As part of Canfor’s COVID-19 action plan, the changes are intended to reduce potential risks associated with travel and large gatherings and to focus on the health and safety of our employees, suppliers, customers, communities and shareholders.

The revised event format for both AGMs will include a one-way web and telephone conference. Shareholders can email questions prior to the meeting to [email protected], but will not otherwise be able to vote or speak at the AGMs via the web or telephone conference. Shareholders are encouraged to use these media and not to attend the AGMs in person but to vote on the matters at the AGMs by proxy, appointing a management proxy holder to limit the number of attendees.

As the COVID-19 pandemic is quickly evolving, the companies will continue to monitor the circumstances of the virus and any recommendations or directives of government and health authorities and will advise shareholders as necessary of any further updates regarding the AGMs.

EVENT: Annual General Meeting 2020 Web Conference

WHEN: Thursday, April 23, 2020, 12:30 PM PST Canfor Pulp Products Inc.  1:00 PM PST Canfor Corporation

Q&As: The Canfor companies will be accepting email questions only prior to the AGMs, and shareholders are encouraged to email their questions before April 22nd to [email protected]
