LESPROM — Canada’s lumber production increased 6.5% from February to 5 009.2 thousand cubic metres in March. Production was 7.9% lower than in March 2019, as Statistics Canada reported.
Sawmills shipped 4 643.4 thousand cubic metres of lumber in March, up 12.5% from February and down 9.2% from March 2019.
