Prince George, BC – This Friday and Saturday, one of the region’s most popular heavy equipment trade shows is making its return to the CN Centre. Taking place May 24 and 25, the Canada North Resources Expo is a showcase of the leading companies and products that are part of Northern Canada’s resources sectors.

The event features four acres of indoor and outdoor space with tons of big iron, including equipment, machinery, products and technology geared to forestry, heavy construction, and major resources infrastructure. Hundreds of companies are getting ready to exhibit their latest products, and thousands of visitors are pre-registered to attend.

“Move-in for the event is already underway at the CN Centre,” said Mark Cusack, National Show Manager. “With all of the biggest machines and equipment for the important resource sectors of this region, we’re anticipating large crowds and lots of sales happening this week. It’s exciting to welcome everyone back to this key trade event for Northern Canada.”

The online show guide is now available for the event. The show guide includes a sneak peek of what to see at the event, with details on equipment, exhibitors and more. The guide begins on page 30 of the most recent edition of Logging & Sawmilling Journal: CLICK HERE FOR THE ONLINE SHOW GUIDE >

Online registration is still open for a limited time. Registering online saves visitors 50% and fast-tracks their entrance to the show. Registration at the door will cost $20.00.

Families are invited to attend Future of the Industry Day on Saturday. Just one adult registration covers the whole family!

Attendees can also plan to take in the 2019 Interior Safety Conference, in partnership with BC Forest Safe. This year’s theme is “Safety Responsibilities – Everyone’s Role” and the conference will include topics which include managing fatigue, marijuana in the workplace, human factors and workplace injury prevention using physiotherapy. The conference will provide practical information and tools for workers, supervisors, and managers. Registration for the conference is separate from show registration, and is available here.
