Paul Andre, CRSP, has taken the helm at Workplace Safety North, as acting president and CEO. Andre has served as vice-president of prevention services at WSN since 2010.
The former CEO and field services manager of the Pulp and Paper Health and Safety Association has more than 25 years’ experience in Ontario’s prevention system, and also volunteers as Chair of the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals.
Through his work with boards of directors as well as industry and prevention system partners, Andre has established a reputation as a strong and collaborative leader in health and safety promotion.
Announcing the promotion, Dwight Harper, chair of the board of directors for WSN, said: “A change of leadership brings new energy and possibilities for any organization and the team that supports it. Paul will lead WSN in building on its successes and executing a transformative strategic plan designed to bring every worker home safe and healthy.”
